Based on artifacts found at the De'an Zhou Tomb originating from the Southern Song Dynasty. 

The Sanjianqun 三裥裙, or "three panel skirt", is constructed as its name suggests. Three large panels are sewn onto the waistband while creating wide pleats inbetween panels. Decorated with small bells along the seams of each panel, these subtle closures create a natural mermaid silhouette. 

Made in a neutral citrus color and constrasted by red waist ties, this is a versatile skirt that can pair well with any color of Song Dynasty outerwear!

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
